About the Event

Chu Lin

Host for Silicon Valley Talks Series 04

Chu graduated from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU)

During his master's degree, he was engaged in research work related to the perception of autonomous driving under the guidance of Professor Co-Director Rajkumar of the CMU-GM Joint Unmanned Vehicle Laboratory.

Later, he became an employee of deepmap, an high-definite map service company, which is an A-series technology start-up company that provides high-definite map services for many EOMs and autonomous driving companies. After acquisition by NVIDIA, he now is working on mapping related works in the NVIDIA autonomous driving organization.

Jeffrey Hu

Jeffrey is currently a PhD candidate at Carnegie Mellon University. He is now working at CMU Robotics Institute on robotic learning related problems. His research interests are perception, planning and decision making for robotics. He has published multiple papers on ECCV, IROS and Pattern Recognition Journal. He also served reviewers for several top conferences and journals.

David Chen

David Chen graduated from Carnegie Mellon University(CMU), he is currently working in Google Ads, working on recommendation algorithms. He was an early employee of an autonomous driving unicorn company. He has an unique view for various fields
